End of exams and onwards

Well the exams are over, and i feel i did 40% ok and 60% not ok... so you can see my expectations are set at a very low level. I don't in any way feel as if i aced any exam, not even human biology which is one of my strongest subject areas (biology as a whole, not specifically the subject human biology itself). Anyway, now I just have to wait till the results come out in the second week of July, (quite the nervous actually)

Anyway since the exams have been over i've watched a fair amount of "Xena: warrior princess" which some of the people i know say makes me a bit of a lesbian. I guess it does, Lucy Lawless and Renee O'Connor are, in my opinion, hotties.
That aside, I've been through the entire first season, and have anothre 5 seasons to go. Who knew it went for 6 seasons.









Also been working a bit. I'm no longer the rookie of the team, as the powers that be, Hetty and Jack, hired two newbies, Joe, who I've worked with on a number of occasions, and Martha, who i've met once. Its been interesting to say the least, but I still feel, that even though i've been working at burger fuel for about 6 months now, that I'm still a rookie and that jess, who started a month ago, is of a higher "rank" than i am (but she does work more than i do) so yeah.




This coming week i'll be going to the science revue camp (situated in sunny and fun west pennant hills, OOOOHHH YEAAAAHHHH :P) and spend 2 days intensively dancing, acting and singing, should be lots of fun. Then as soon as the camp finishes i jet off to north sydney station, to catch another train to Melbourne, with my brother, with my laptop and new camera and several movies to stem the boredom of the several hour trip south of the border. Should also be fun.
OH which reminds me. I got a new camera.
Its a Sony Cybershot W110, and its sexy in a technological kind of way. Now i can take nice high quality photos with out having to lug around the really big panasonic that my family owns (which i used on my art major work) to take photos. Thus you can sorta expect more photos taken by me on this blog (subject to how i feel at the time of blogging, ie if i can be stuffed uploading :) after all this is Chuck's meh...) so yeah.
In the following few weeks blog posts will be of what i've been up to in my exciting new holidays. I'll try to get one in each day, but we'll see how that goes.
Anyway I'm being forced to relegate myself to bed, which i fell is a pretty good idea at the moment seeing as its 2am.

exams... then HOLIDAYS!!!!

Ok so semester 1 is almost over, and then i'll be able to go on holidays for a bit.
For me that involves going to melbourne and watching WICKED.
Now i've already told this to some of my pals here and there, and the ones who are into musicals have been, on average like this
"omg i hate you", "you're so lucky"
yay making people jealous :P
I'm going to be in row CC in seats 24 and 25, and it is going to be AWESOME!!!
That and I'm going on science revue camp.
just to fill you in, i joined the USYD Science Revue. I auditioned and got a dancing role of all things
anyway so i'm going to the science revue camp before i go to melbourne and its going to be 2 days of intensive singing, dancing and acting, which will also be v. fun
but before i get to play i need to get past my exams, which i desperately need to do well on as i need to pass human biology, and end up with a credit average for the year.
That said, I'm going to go off and study for the next 3.5 hours before i have to go work.

I feel so toot!

Ok this was written a while ago, and i only just realised that i hadn't published it, it was probably due to the lack of a photo to demonstrate. Anyway here's my encounter with the "double bastard". And toot is my code word for fat, (for those who don't recognise where it comes from, see DRAWN TOGETHER)

Ok i ate alot at this particular day, i won't go into the finer details of what I ate because it pales in comparison to what I'm about to tell you.

In the last post i mentioned that I was late to work. Well this meant that i'd missed lunch and I had a split shift, so during the hour that i had off, I decided to have lunch. Now I had a brilliant idea a couple of weeks ago about making a burger with more than one beef pattie. Today, I made that idea a reality when I created the Bastard Prince/aka the Double Bastard (with the help of Steph).

It took 5 minutes to cook, it consisted of 1 Bastard Burger + an extra 1/3 pound beef pattie, cheese on each pattie, and extra bacon.

It weighed 735g

and took me 11 minutes to polish it off

And thats why i feel toot

Ok I lost my phone

Right so i've lost my phone,
Lost it in carslaw computer lab 705/706.
Quite the annoyed.
I want it back really bad... *sigh* but nothing much can be done about that because our society is just the way it is and people rarely ever return things which don't belong to them. Thats what really shits me. If i was living in japan, i'd have my phone back already.
*takes deep breath* ok rant over
onto other news.
I got 10/10 in my biostats quiz! YAY! so wasn't expecting that, but i know that i shouldn't be complacent because it was only 4 weeks worth of knowledge in that test and the next one will be 6 weeks or even 10 weeks. Plus I still have to wait for my Calculus quiz comes back, hopefully i can pull a percentage in that score thats at least 66% of what i managed in this quiz.

Oh and i got a 7/10 in my chem quiz. also quite pleased but i need to do more work for sure.

Charlie and his technicolour girlfriend

Ok so this post is generally about my day at the eastershow and then the colour parade.
The easter show was the most expensive thing i have done all year. I went in with $100 and left with nothing but some showbags. That said, one showbag made my day particularly interesting.
Tiddums, aka taylor and a good friend of Kieran's, said to me, in the showbag pavillion. "I have found the perfect showbag for you"
"yeah what is it?" i say. Tiddums then leads the group (kieran, vicky and myself) over to another showbag stand where they were selling the "ultimate babe" showbag.
ok lots of dialogue inbetween, so we'll cut to the part where i buy the showbag, get dressed in the black tank top with babe in big pink letters on the back, wear the pink sunnies and parade around the show in a very camp manner. needless to say it was quite amusing, and i overheard several times during the day "omg is he wearing chicks clothing?"
ahh much laughter came from that.
Icky show food and fun with blow up NAB hands proceeded, as well as some dancing (soldja boy and thriller). The day reached its climax at night when we went to see the motorcross and fireworks.
As you can see to your left, tiddums was v. excited.

The colour parade was almost a week later. Saturday the 5th of April. Kieran and I planned to go partcipate in the parade before going to Sam's 18th birthday party. Now i don't remember all the intricate details behind the parade but i do remember their myspace. www.myspace.com/colourparade so you can go check out all their stuff there. Anyway had a lot of fun dancing in the street to african rhythms and loud music coming from a speaker mounted to the back of a bicycle.Anyway i have to cut this post short as i have a chemistry and biostatistics quiz coming up this week that i would like to pass.
